The countdown continues and it's time to finish off the last brush strokes and get your entry into the Art Competition at Casa la Pedrera, The Grand Design House. Closing date is this weekend in preparedness for the exhibition that runs from Monday 13 - Monday 20th 11am / 5pm daily!

The Exhibtion will feature the entries into the art competition plus will be exhibiting artwork from local artists as well as as quality hand made crafts and floral displays throughout the house!!

All through the weeks there will be daily demonstrations of arts and crafts, flower arranging, flamenco dancing and live entertainment,,,,, times and dates will be announced later this week so you can decide which day to visit. The Tea Garden will be open so you can enjoy the enjoy the exhibition, and relax in the gardens with some light refreshments or even a piece of home made cake... A perfect day out for visiting friends and family!!

The “What Makes You Happy?” Book Project:

You can now get involved with a fantastic new project that has the potential to reach numerous people. So many of us can tend to focus on the negative things in life and what we cannot do, not what we can do; on what we do not have, not what we do have. The: “What Makes You Happy?” Book Project is the start of something big that I want to continue and grow, so that it enriches people’s lives and touches the masses, not just a few. This is all about you and what makes you feel happy, which in turn, when others read will bring enlightenment to them and make them think about what makes them happy too. Like attracts like! Therefore positivity attracts positivity. To contribute you can post what makes you happy* (anything from one word, to a sentence up to a whole paragraph!) on here.
